    Question Bribie Island whitepatch, Flathead

I am keen to have a fish for flathead tomorrow. I was going to fish the banks at the pine but am concerned about the snot grass. I was wondering if there is much weed up the passage at the moment and if anyone is scoring a few flatheads from the banks near Whitepatch

I got told today that the weed is still really bad in the passage. Not necessarily a reliable source though. As Alleycat said, you'll be wet!

    Cheers

Went out there today and the weed was bad. I gave up after two hours with onyl one bite. Its crap at the moment. I would look elsewhere if i was you. Maybe surf side if you have a 4x4.

from what i saw today, there is no weed around the brisbane river. I also went up into the pine and didnt see any at all. glad to see the end of it hopefully.

I ended fishing the pine as i did not want to drive to Bribie and end up with grass/weed. Thanks to all who replied.
Unfortunately the flathead were not active, there were some good indications of flathead on the high tide banks but I could not get one to hit the plastics.
