    Ryan,
As has beem mentioned before , there are still large areas of the Pine that you can escape the weed . I would definitely give it a go on the weekend . ( As I will be if I can swing the day off .)

I was last out there a week ago and the weed around the Redcliffe bridges was still very bad - it was virtually unfishable. Well up the river there was still a bit of weed but you could fish, even though you had to clean a bit of weed off your lines every time you pulled them in. It's possible that the strong winds and heavy weather we've had over the last few days will have dispersed quite a bit of it - here's hoping

Hey buddy I was out last weekend up the further reaches of the pine fishing as the snot weed was pretty heavy down towards the bridge passed DWB (deep water bend) and beyond to dohles rocks and the bridges. I usually head up until you hit the yellow x marker when the winds, weed is too much. Some bream around but I would be putting in the brisbane river if it was me, but I am biased and love the brissy river and the wonders it holds. tight lines.. mossy

Dunno, but there was a good school of bait fish being worked by the birds on the south east side of the bridge as I went over this morning, the cormorants and pelicans were giving them a flogging.
