rainbow beach
Hi i have a weeks holiday in rainbow dragging a 4.3 with a 40hp being my first time there i was wondering if anyone wants to help me get started with some hints on fishing and crabbing around this erea, any help will be greatly appreciated

PLENTY OF REPORTS on this area Crabby. just do a search and you'll see what I mean. It's a good place to have a tinny. Watch the road in to bullock point ramp, it's a shocker. Bullock is up towards the barges and turn left. you will find it on google earth i suppose.

Thanks Sheik i am more interested in the crabbing than the fishing i have a 4&6 year old boys that cant get enough crabbing so i am looking forward to spending time in the boat with them once again thanks

Should have no dramas getting a feed launching from the ramp behind the caravan park. Be careful of the green zones and the share farmers.

For sure Landy. Make sure you stay around your pots when you put them out as they will get sharefarmed, as Landy says. Sometimes the pickings can be a bit thin in that part of teh world but you should be able to scare up some crabs. good luck anyway mate

cheers for that guys should be shot our sharing friends, we will go and have a look. looking forward to no work spending time with the tin lids not to mention an ale to wash down a feed of fresh crab. thanx for your replys
