I never chase bream, but we get absoluteley pestered with bream while berleying for snapper at Redcliffe, we do hook a few good sized ones, usually foul hooked, as they swipe and bash at the hooks/baits. If we fished with smaller hooks and bait it would be a bag out for sure. The berley sure brings them in. Do you ever try just offshore along the front at Redcliffe on dusk or dawn? I know blokes who have caught them there all winter!
