I joined the rest of the crew at Whyte Island today. A big variety of boats launched to participate.

The Boat Passage was looking great

Thanks for the pics Greg. I just got home and I'm about to hook up the boat and head down, though I may watch the rugby first if we're going well.

it is a small world..Webby used to have a red boat..the fire truck.. which he sold to Marlin Mike. marlin Mike has since sold the boat to someone else. We were all standiung around having a chat and webby's son Cameron says..have a look at this. The firetruck arrives back at the ramp.

Thanks for the pics Pinhead, good to see a large turnout.Unfortunately had other commitments, seems every year so far, hopefully next year.Gave the ramp, cleaning tables and sheds a birthday Friday arvo so the place is all spic and span.By the sounds of it it was hard to raise fish in the late stages of yesterday arvo going into the evening.Looking forward to the wash up.Jim

Just back in tidying up the event.

Thanks to Webby, Bush'n'Beach, Chief, Chong and Ausfish as sponsors and prize donations.

Thanks to thedeckie for cooking up a storm of a BBQ breakfast.

There was a pretty good turnout in my books and appreciate the effort of those that urned up. It was a hard nights fishing with that big moon in the sky. Conditions were comfortable though.

Brian will post up details of winners names and fish etc when his satelite dish gets cranking again.

I'll let the others sort the stories.

    Photo's below tell some tales

Winner of the Fred " Touchy " Wood, memorial fishing rod. Marty. Captain Seaweed.

Team White Rhino..... drying out !!

rafting up at Mud. to the West........... ---- >

rafting up at Mud. to the East <------------

    The Chong Award...............

    The breakfast getting warm...............

    Webby dismount from Bec'n'Call

    That award...............

    WH&S................... !!!!

    Congrats to all the winners.

Funds raised go to VMR for their continued good work keeping us boaties safe on the water.

    Cheers Phill

Late at night I found this Feret perched on the bait board of Rebait. Nothing would shift it.
