NNSW - More tailor and a school jew

Managed to get a plastic down thru the tailor and scored a 65cm jew fri night. Good fun on the light gear. Got bitten off by another as it leapt out of the water. Saw another 30cm leader prawn but it did not get smashed. It has been a few weeks since i have caught a river jew, so it was great to catch him.

I went pre-dawn this morning, 400mtrs north of where we were Thurs night.
Tailor were ON (go figure????), but went dead as soon as the sun kissed the horizon!
Kept 6 in the mid 40 - low 50's, and threw a few back in the 35-40's.
Was using my regular surf rig, so made me a much happier camper :-)

Nice one carnster, I fished the beaches for jew over the weekend and came up with nothing apart from tailor to about the same size as your soapy on friday night and absolutely nothing but bream bites on saturday night. Like daylight when the moon comes out from behind the clouds! Ben
