Converting odt documents to PDF ?

I have searched the net to attempt to find someone or something that will convert my ODT docs to PDF format.

ODT is from Open Office 3.3 ( text document )

I have tried several free download thingos, but they are hopeless.

All I want is an option in the " save as " file for " save as PDF ".

    Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have you tried printing as a PDF?
some PDF programs convert throught the print function. so press print than select the printer type and if you have a PDF program it should/may come up in there..

    Phil,

Yes, as krazyfisher says, a program that prints to pdf is a good option.

I use PDF995 - it's free from the net but has a pop-up when you use it.

For the amount I do it's not too much of an annoyance.

    Hope this helps,

    Steve

    OK.

I look to have solved the issue. Found a forum that suggested a PDF writer / creator. Free dowload.

Completed it. hit the print option, selected the PDF24 printer, opened a box and gave me options........ yee bloody haa.... !!!

Saved doc as PDF. Thanks everyone.

    NOW, next issue.

    I have no sound.

    Speakers are on

but, in my device manager..... no audio device ... is my message.

I have tried different sockets at back of PC,

seems I need to download or activate or update............... ?

    errr.....Spot X...

When I changed laptops, I didn't retain a lot of the software from the previous computer so I downloaded a Driver Mender from the web. Do you think this will help??

Re: Converting odt documents to PDF ?

no audio device would indicate the sound drivers are not installed, or you had a sound card built into the old board, and the new one requires an add on, but more than likely it will be the drivers, try the very obvious of course, along the bottom right of the screen, is there a little speaker symbol? if so, make sure it has not been muted.

Re: Converting odt documents to PDF ?

OK, no speaker symbol= no sound driver or sound card, one or the other, when you go to device manager, does it list a sound card/device with a yellow question mark, or nothing at all?
