Hello all
Hi names Dan
I mostly enjoy beach and estuary fishing, on lightish spin gear,soft-plastics and hard bodies.
Also like a bit of live baiting, I release fish often like tonight I released a large 105cm Threadfin Salmon and kept a nice 43cm estuary cod for the pan.
I don't really like eating Threadfin Salmon anyway,I don't like the taste.
Live baiting for Mulloway, Bream and Tailor and what ever is around off the walls and beaches.
My main gear for estuary and river is:
PSR842S IMX-Gloomis 7' (6-12lb)
Gary Howard GForce 6' (2-4kg) -fitted with Alphas R Edition
BSR-801 MossyBack 6'8" (8-10lb)
Gary Howard Envy 6'6" (1-3kg)
Shimano Fireblood 2500
Diawa Luvias 2500R
For bait I use cheap old reels and rods and do very well with them.
I use braid but I am also starting to find new joys fishing with mono.
Cheers

Re: Hello all
I am in Brisbane Wayno.
Land based mostly, so the fishing is a bit dodgey, not the fish, just the places you have to fish.
I sometimes travel down to Brunswick, Pottsville, or Ballina to try my luck in the waterways or off the beaches or walls.

Re: Hello all
funny how the Jacks get down south, I have heard of them at Balina and Wooli.
What wall do you mean?
Are you fishing with lure?
