managed to go fishing with a mate. launched at 1230. tried the mouth and caught a heap of tailor mostly undersize. they were good fun but not what we came for so we moved around the river and flicking plastics and we managed about four flathead. had to put in a few casts between fish but good fun. cheers.

yeah not bad. we fished the afternoon high tide. good to see some better size ones in amongst all the 40's and 50's. the one on the floor of the boat measured 62cm caught on watermelon pearl jerkshad. not huge but still good fun.

Nice to see a few around, I was getting a few nice sized ones around May, then not a thing in June/July.
