amberjack and kingies were in the same catorgry for some reason 1st was a/j 9.645 2nd was a king 8.7 3rd was a king 8.05.
-things that stood out to me on the leader board were the flatties, 2nd and 3rd usually would'nt get a look in. generally the top 3 snaps are a bit bigger, but still good fish. the tailor 4.715 gilled and gutted is a horse. the kingies are small but the weather out wide mean't alot couldn't get out to where some big ones are often caught.
- i caught some nice fish but no winners which is ok cause i won the camper trailer missed the car by 1.
i fished with 2 other mates and on the last day coming back up the river one said 'how bout if one of us gets one of the first 3 prizes we go 3rd's. we all agreed thinking we got no chance anyway. isn't he happy with that call now. happyier then the missus, i rang her to tell her i won, she was very excited, but only for about 30 seconds. its all good but where selling her and will get about $2500 each.
