    Gold Coast Salmon

with a few hours up my sleeve this morning i decided to go down the the ramp at the Grand hotel, to chase the salmon i have been hearing about.
When i got down there it seems everyone else has heard aswell. Would have been 20 odd guys down there chasing them.
they put up such a good fight on light gear, would have been almost 10 years since ive caught one. awesome sports fish on light gear. this one took a small vibe.
    Cheers Benny.

Hi Benny, great fun aren't they, we were there yesterday and had a ball.

There were 6 guys on the end of the pontoon all casting at the same time looked hilarious but they were having a lot of fun.

They have been there for a month or so and as long as the bait stays there so will the Salmon, cheers wayne

yeah the fly guys were into them today aswell, did pretty well early on.
Not too sure about the classic this year, my past partner is in the works of getting a new job and if he gets it his training goes over the classic so he wont be able to make it, so i maybe on the lookout for a new team.
also my wife is expecting our 2nd child due on the 15 oct, hoping it doesnt come early.
Would love to give the ABT flathead a go aswell, that will be after the classic i think.
    Cheers Benny
