Unbelievably good service for new tyres
I had to get some new tyres for Mrs Palmer and by accident I walked into Bosman Wholesale Tyres at U1/142 Beatty Rd at Archerfield.
Well I could not have been happier.
I'd priced tyres around a few of the chain tyre shops and the price for 235/75/15 basic rim protectors ranged from $160 and up to about $220 for the el-cheapo home branded tyres.
Well this young fella quoted me $155 for Kumho's fitted and balanced and he included a free wheel alignment because I brought 4 tyres.
It's only a very small operation but the professionalism was outstanding.
They did not use air ratchets, which is my pet hate, and were very careful with Mrs Palmer which is something that I have not seen much before either from a workshop.
He has just another employee but at the end of the week the young fella is leaving so he's going to be working alone.
He's well worth a bit of a drive to see or phone to get a price.
He also has a heap of brand spanking second hand Bridgestone tyres that were fitted to 4 wheel drives the mines had brought and had tyres changed from new.
They've travelled form the dealer to his shop and that's it. They still have the nipples on the tread they do.
They're 16 and 17 inch tyres for $135.
