Turkey Beach during winter
Just returned this week from a week long trip with a few blokes from Turkey Beach. Caught a couple of Spaniards and small reefies outside as well as a few Salmon, Flatties and crabs in the creeks along with a Jack for the week. I'm aware that the Spaniards fire up this time of year but does anyone have any info on fishing the inshore areas in winter? Does it fish better May / June or later towards August? Do the Salmon fire up at a particular time?
Loved the area and keen to explore it further so any info regarding the winter months would be appreciated.
Cheers

Yeah it's a great spot Crash that's for sure. I can't help you with too much information about when fish bite, but the Dudds and I can certainly help you with information on when they don't bite. So far we've been in January and June. So don't bother trying to catch anything in those months. Unless we're doing something wrong...no that's ridiculous...

Thanks Shiek, we will definately be going back next year around the same time depending on tides and the moon. At this stage early July will still be the prefered month unless informed otherwise. In June did you fish the estuary or outside?
