Please explain.....

Hi all,

Took my Garmin 451s for its first outing today. I couldnt work out some of the info that was displayed on the sonar screen. I know its a reefy bottom as I have been to this spot before and bought up pieces of reef. Its what was slightly above the bottom that I dont get.

Dont think they were fish as nothing was biting and didnt see the fish "arch" on the screen. I know, I know read the owners manual. I have and its very basic and doesnt explain very much on this topic

fish may have been there but not biting, or it may have been small bait fish, or weed? they do not always show up as arches like you see in the demos, experience is the bst teacher with new gear.
