    spheros14000

Time to service the big spheros.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the rubber friction ring without damage .It seems to me to be locked in under a metal lug.I am a bit nervous of applying too much force to dig it out of its channel.
Or is there another way to remove the sideplate.
    Cheers

I genneraly get a small jewelers flat screwdriver and work it off,it will 'stick' a bit as you work it through the ramp but it's not hard to remove, the downside is they are prone to stretching (hardly noticeable) and may give the impression that the reel is binding when re assembled,if this happens the replacement part will probably be made of an upgraded material.
