Popper fishing anywhere

Whats going on guys im back to popper fishing again, My mum went a bought a small bubblepop 35 and shes been researching popper fishing and wants me to get her a fish on it the only bad thing is ive only ever caught 1 fish ever on poppers a 28 cm bream and nothing else so that is why i turn to you guys to help me out, i live in brisbane and can travel bout 1.5 hours in any which direction my mum said she doesnt care if the fish are small she just wants to catch something. If anyone could give me spot or general area would be very appreciated also i will never shy away tips or techniques people have. Once again i have no target species just to catch fish. Bass in summer freshwater, trevalley, tailor etc in the saltwater ........
Just got to in the right place at right time...

do some exploring..........locally
I had a spin today , saw a big swirl, casted to it, got a couple of hits on the slug, no hookup....
Bet it was a trevalley in the estuary....
Fish are more active in summer towards poppers, i have found...
