What Transducer is this?

Can some one please tell me what Transducer this is as it has no markings and no ID tag on cable previous owner doesnt know either. All I can tell ya is it has a 6pin plug and it works very well even at 30kts It is currently plugged into a Navman fish 4500 but it is not Navman.
The main reason i would like to know is for when i upgrade fishfinder i might be able to use this Transducer. Any help would be great!

Older style Airmar.
I think what you'll find with the older style Airmar you might be hard pressed to find a current unit that has the same plug configuration.
Whilst internally it may be similiar to P66, the plug on it probably will not work with many(if any) head units around.

Could you post up a picture of the plug on the other end??

had the same transducer on my northstar 660 combo's i had on my old boat.they came in the box the units came in when i bought them

Looks very much like a Airmar P65 Triducer.

Early furuno's used this transducer with an 8pin metal plug

The Airmar transducer's are good units. They make a huge range covering Furuno, Raymarine and JRC, right down to Humminbird and Lowrance.

Thats the same tranducer I have on my Sitex SVS 650. Had it for about a year now. 600 watt and suits both Sitex and Koden sounders.

Any decent electronics place (trymax etc) will be able to put the corresponding brand's plugtop onto the transducer lead assuming the transducer is compatible with the head unit you have/get. Just take your head unit receipt with you though because as you'd understand there's plenty of head units around which were unlawfully separated from their transducers, and marine elec techs are on the lookout.
