Furuno 600l sounder

When using above sounder no depth, bottom, etc.(echo) appears on the screen intermittently.(Temperature and speed works fine). Works OK at start of day but then only intermittenly during day and yesterday no echo after half hour. Tried a new transponder(airmar P66) with the same result.

Send it back to J N taylor in Brisbane to get looked at. The units are still repairable so they could probably rectify the fault. Usually you would say its the T'ducer but trying a new one with same faults says its the head unit.
