Hi All,
Dropped my 7' 1-3kg Strudwick (snapstick?) onto a large rock, which customised my rod by removing the top 7cm of the rod.
I thought, instead of a replacement that I can't afford right now, that I'd just toss another tip on it and see how it goes (hoping, perhaps in vain, that the rest of the blank isn't damaged).
From the broken tip, there's 3cm to the first guide, then 11cm between the first and second guide.
Would you:
A) remove the current first guide, which would then mean there would be 14cm between tip and first guide (post-repair) or;
B) leave the existing guide alone, meaning there'd be 3cm between the tip and the first guide?
Cheers!
