    so there is no reason that this place is locked down to the public except that its a construction site? What are they building and when does it get completed and cease being a construction site :-)

    Its on private property (Port of Brisbane corporation) and the whole area is under security because its a port. The area is built on re claimed land hence the 'building site'.

    I am disgusted at some of you blokes..sneaking into these areas to clandestinely catch fish..I find that appalling..Appalling that I was not invited..bugger security..when do we go?

    hhaa,not this one but plenty others did have line and traces.
    this fish was the first video we shot. first cast,slap goes the unwaited mullet strip and smash.
    was caught using straight through 15kg mono.

    i have a dodgy photo i will try and find from a phone but it has low light as it was back at the boggy creek ramp.

    It's the area behind the rock wall down at the port, an extention of the existing facilities, it's being filled in with sand and spoil from dredging.
