Headed up to Teewah for a couple of days, driving up and down fishing the nice looking gutters. Plenty of mullet schooled up right in close to the beach, the netters were easily seen driving everywhere but I didn't see them shooting any nets.
Schools of big Dart everywhere as well with some gutters holding hundreds of fish in the swell, these were good sized ones too and readily taking anything thrown at them, bait and lure, great fun on light gear and they go like the clappers. Caught dozens of them and actually they were proved to be quite a pest, having to move several times to try and get away from them. Bream and Tarwhine (to 35cm) mixed in with them but hard to let anything sit there long enough before a ravenous Dart nailed it.
Few flatties as well, most undersized, spoke to a few people that reckoned they were getting good sized ones up and down the beach. Tailor were scarce and mostly undersized but a few alright ones holding up with the mullet in places.
Really good time to be up there, weather was perfect and considering it was school holidays, wasn't really busy. Few pics from a few different sessions in various gutters, much more C&R, a cracker time.
