Winter Whiting
Babysitting today so took the grandkids out the front of Bechemere chasing winter whiting. Had to work for them but got a nice feed over a couple of hours. Most were a good size up to about 26cm and found them in fairly close. Water depth about 14/15 feet. Sorry no photos but was too busy baiting 3 rods.

Girls are 9 and 11, boy is 14. They love their fishing especially when they get home and tell everyone how they catch more than me.

Re: Winter Whiting
Winter whiting are definately on the bite. Caught a nice feed on Sunday drifting the boat about a k upstream of the Bribie bridge using size 3 hooks and fresh blood worms. cooked em up that night and they went down real nice. easy to fillet too, if you catch a few bonew its all good!!
