NNSW Jew fever

Last night i hit a close bridge and had some fun with plenty of tailor and a 65cm jew with gulp shrimps on 8lb fireline and 20lb trace. Also threw in a recent NNSW pic of some more river jew, sorry about the pic, but had to get my daughter to take it. Finally had some bad luck today offshore on a big fish breaking my nitro saltwater pro jig head hook plus lost another good fish which bent a mustard big red hook. Going to go to mustard hoodlums, but not sure about stronger jig heads, is there any?

We hit the Tweed last week close to the bridge for some Tailor. Actually there were heaps around. Didn't come on until about 8:00pm and only bit until 10:00pm. We had a big bait out for a jewie but nothing. Threw lures for a while but they came on when we switched to unweighted pillies slowly retrieved.

Tried for an hour on Sat nite for trevs - but donutted :-( Shouldda come bridge-hunting by the look of it.
