After some advice on a 10 year old engel 39lt. The fridge has been awsome and never missed a beat but 2 weekends ago yes when it was cold it seamed to be cycling alot more than it used to. I was wondering if they require regassing like an AAC unit on a car.

should never need regassing unless it has a leak. If it is an old R12 one then better off to dump it as retrofitting the refrigerant is not worth it on a small fridge. Cycling means nothing..the inside temp is the key. If it was cold outside then any heat transfer to the inside is diminished therefore it should cycle. Check that the interanl temp remains reasonably constant.
