Squid Lights

Hi Guys

Been reading about the LED lights mounted under boats to attract fish and squid. I don't wanna go to the expense of buying these LED lights. So I was wondering if the submersible prawn lights would do the trick?

I know a bloke who ties a rope to a couple of dolphin torches and hangs them out the back. he recons its the Go.

any lights will do, found a good one on another forum using a 12v downlight with a 20-40watt halogen bulb glued inside a glass spice jar and stuck to the bottom of a styrofoam block cheap but effective.
