PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 No depth on sounder
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. The last few times I have gone out have found that my sounder(Garmin 551s) hasn't been showing the depth when it starts up, but after unplugging it and reconnecting it starts to display the depth. Is it the transducer? cable? any feedback would be appreciated.
I have 451c and was told in here to turn the gain down, the more shallow it is the more you need to turn it down and up the deeper ya go, auto gain usually sorts it out but not always, my depth reading will start flashing mostly when the depth is more shallow. try that first and your not meant to have sounder on if your ducers not in water, apparently .. , hope that helps you out
