lures pop on plane
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had any problems with lures popping on the plane when they are in your checked luggage and if your allowed to take them in your carry on luggage. I suffered from this on a trip to Cairns, it seemed the more expensive the lure was the more likely it was to pop. I've got a trip to Tasmania coming up and want to stock up on Bream lures but don't want to get there to find them stuffed, any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks kev

Re: lures pop on plane
Never had a lure pop on me,didnt think that could happen but i guess it does,as far as takeing them on as part of your boarding luggage the answer is NO!!! They see it as form of weapon i suppose! so the old lures go in tha hold of the plane.
Cheers Chris.

I've carried loads of lures internationally and never had any damage to any of them.
only lures I have had trouble with are ones i left in the sun that warped and wouldn't run straight again

if you want to carry them on just remove the trebles and ptu them in with your luggage and fit them back on when you get there I've done this myself
