Eagle Cuda 300

Hi guys

I have an Eagle Cuda 300 on my boat ( I didn't buy the sounder it came with the boat). It doesn't matter what settings I select on the sounder it wont show fish archers, even tho i know there are fish there cause I'm catching them. The only thing that this sounder seems to be good for is to show depth, water temp and some structure.

Does anyone out there have one of these? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

had one of these when i first got my boat, they aren't the best i agree. i got partial arches, etc. by turning the sensitivity up (manual mode) basically turn it right up to 99% and start backing it off until you start to get some clarity. i never used auto mode it was rubbish, play with the settings a bit and you'd be surprised

Thanks Eug I,ve been doing that but still no joy. I'll keep playing with it till I get bored.
