    Replacing roller tip

    A question for the rod makers , can i replace a roller tip with a standard guide on an overhead 24kg rod. Thank you wayno

    Yes

    Be sure that you replace it with a heavy duty tip and also ensure you match the diameter of the last runner

    If you take it to Jones tackle at Chermside they will put a new tip on it for about 20 dollars.

    that i would like to see.
    i cant do it at that price with a decent guide to take that.
    the guide is worth that on its own
