    Sunday Southport 50's

Was going to look for a big fat spanno on Sunday but got the opportunity to head wide in mates boat looking for some reefies and managed to scrape up a feed of snapper, a couple of kingies, a cobia and a parrot.
Hard to judge what the current was doing but the wind ensured we had to back into it the whole time. Was hard work sitting on the edge of the storm front with a good display of lightning and thunder and wind blowing from the SE at 20-25knots, we knew the fish were there so persisted.
All fish caught on half pillies

We were out on the shelf on sunday and had to head north away from that storm in the morn.

Lightining was only bout 8-9kms away.

Was a top day out though.
