    Tackle for Hinchinbrook and reefs

I am heading up to Lucinda next month and was wondering what size sinkers and jigheads to use.
With the big tides here I normally use between a size 8 to 12 snapper lead and a 1oz to 2oz jighead.
I assume that will be too heavy up there
BOAT really does mean Bring out Another Thousand

yep thats about right, some times the current can be nearly non existant, others, you might need 16oz or more to get to the bottom in 60 odd m of water.

I take pretty much the same gear out

for the shoals bring the big ones when you get to the reef up here it's not really about the tides but more the current . but maybe bring a couple of 6's as well just in case the current isn't running . for the reef you won't need anything that big
IF IT CAN'T EAT A WHOLE PILLY I DON'T WANT IT
