as you said you are young therefore I doubt you would have been around long enough to really notice any changes in fish stocks etc. Fish numbers vary over cycles of many years dependent on water quality and temps etc.

A lil piece of advice..always question what you may read and hear and take none of it as gospel without satisfying yourself that what you see is actually true. Look behind the movies or the written word and see who the writers are etc and who may have something to benefit from writing the item. Amazing what you may find out by just by doing that in your life.

Well lets just put it this way, I dont know very much at all about green peace, so should read up more about em on this site. But I'd be more than happy to have no commercial fisherman and everyone just had to catch their own seafood!
Stop professional fishing... before it's too late!

There has to be a balance, commercial fisherman should be able to take a sustainable amount, as determined by science, not them. We need to eat, and fish is part of that, but with the technology we have now fish dont have a chance.

What would fisherman do ?? get another freakin job. Do you have any idea how many skilled migrants Australia are bringing in every year. The big mining companies just held an expo in Canada because they have so many jobs that they cant fill.
