how to cook redclaw?

just a quick one on how to cook redclaw if i manage to catch some.

Hey mate give this a crack, I invented it myself and it works great! Add crushed garlic, sweet chili sauce, little bit of lemon juice and red rum and mix together. Take the tails and cut them down the middle. Place on baking tray and baste the sauce over the top. Place under a grill (med/high) for 3-5 mins or until they go red.

Always great- could use bourbon or no rum at ones own wish. Must serve before the footy starts.

If you boil them, and what ever amount of salt you think you need, double it.

I'm no expert but lately i've only been boiling just the tails after soaking them in salty water for a few hours or in the fridge over night. think it helps.

cut in half or butterflyed then covered in sweet chilly on BBQ is tasty and easy

I completely take the shell off, so you're just left with the flesh, then put bit of garlic paste or lime or anything else you want to mix with it. Even condensed milk goes good! I never soak them in salt, not needed in my opinion.

quick boil for a minute so not cooked through, cooled, completely peeled, then covered in salt n pepper mix(I like this the best) then pan fried in light olive oil, or coated in crumb in 1, batter, or southern fried chicken coating, or just flour and tartar sauce all available at your local supermarket.
