Went with a mate for my first Kayak foray on a very cool Thursday morn, fortunately the south westerly provided calm conditions!
Fished a lot years ago from canoes, so it was just a matter of adjusting from calm to ocean waters.
He lives close to the shore and has been giving me too many reports of snapper within easy reach, so I couldnt resist it any longer.
So here is our tally for 1.5 hrs from daybreak till after sunup, and back on shore for breaky! Snaps were 35 - 45cm and two tailor at 37cm
