A mate of mine bought a Haines Traveller TC200 today that currently sits on a mooring and is needing a new trailer built in the next 3 -4 weeks. He is wanting it to be able to launch retrieve himself if needs be, so presume it should be fully rollered and he is looking at the boat lock thingamajig for latching / unlatching boat from trailer at ramp.... he is also wanting to be able to take boat up beach so will be needing extended drawbars etc made and trailer to be ensured strong enough to be dragged up the beach,
Can you please pass on reccomendations on trailer manufacturers and what else he should request with the build?
Well Tinkas the best mass produced trailer by far. But for beach towing he will have to cut the roller adjustment bars off level after adjusting to suit boat. Bigger wheels would help. List kind of goes on and on..
