I am considering buying a Wilson Live Fibre to use with a spinning reel for beach/surf gutter fishing. Target fish are the usual susoects - Tailor, Dart, Bream and Whiting.

As Wilson don't appear to have a website and don't tend to line rate their rods I thought I would seek the advice of other members.

The rod that I am looking at is a 10'6" Live Fibre Trophy (mid mount) which I am told is a 5 wrap blank as opposed to the Champion Trophy which is a 4 wrap. The rod is available in 1 or 2 piece.

I want to use a Shimano 6000 spinning reel with 12 lb line.

Does anyone have any experience with this rod? What reel are you using on it?
