    Gday All.
I had this rod built late last year by Paul Herron. Finally got some pics together!
Firstly I must thank Mark Fisher who sent up some Red grain grips to try for it.

Your help before and after has been much appreciated.

I really like the finish they provide with the thread pattern I chose.
Once again Paul has done a great job on the whole lot and hs binding work is first class.
I went with Alps VX guides and Alps reel seat.
The blank is the NV9 which is rated as a 10-15 kilo rod but it can take 50lb braid no worries. The curve is similar to the T curve deep jig 200. I left mine at the full 7 feet long but if cut down to 5 foot 8 it would be the same length and perform exactly like the T curve would.
Even though I left it at 7 foot for some casting work the main purpose is chasing reds etc off the bottom up this way.
On the first trip I nailed em and was over the moon with the rods performance. Below is the clip again along with some pics.

In the picture with three rods I've got an NV9 closest to camera cut down to 6 feet 3, my NV9 at the full 7 feet and at the back the T curve 200. All had 3 kilos of weight.

Hey Mark that's a really nice job on the rod. The action looks spot on! It's great to see the grips put to good use and from the You Tube clip they suit the overall makeup and style of the rod. You're welcome to the grips. It's good to see them finally mounted.

    Best Regards
    Mark
