CO2 and ocean acidification

Im not worried mate, just taking all things into consideration. The ol dinosaurs obviously couldnt keep up but thats another story and agreed corals and other Calcium utilising organisms have a tendancy for fast adaptation and niche filling. I just think it pays to keep an eye on impacts we are having, not turning a blind eye and hoping for the best. That said I am far from convinced the shit meet fan scenario is imminent and dont loose sleep over it.

There's work around (no references right now, too tired, and damned near beyond caring) dealing specifically with this. Natural Selection with the little buggers is generally a very, very fast process. They cope. They just do. And if they don't? Something else fills the void. Life's a bitch. This rate of change bit is another scarey. Stop worrying. Put your recycling out. Don't pour shit down the drain. Trust the Planet. She's a big girl.

For the record and I'll say it again as I have before, I am all for paying a little more for power(and other things) if things like Sulphur and Mercury (actual poisonous shit) are not being pumped into our environment. But until there is conclusive proof that CO2 is causing any damage I say let it be. YEP I say that to you folks that love the "what if your wrong and CO2 is doing the damage of this theory. If it is the challenge of our life time, then bloody prove it and stop stealing hard working peoples money on a theory.
