    Bit of talk about this around the place, sounds awesome, I don't know of anyone using one but it sounds worth a crack. You can get dedicated hard, water-proof cases for 'em too eg

    Ive read the Navionics for Android doesnt have pinch zoom as per ipad?

    sorry for the 20 questions-looking at buying and Android tablet. Not keen on ipad due to no USB.
    I have it on my galaxy tab and it works fine, No pinch to zoom but its not a issue for me. And no you do not need a network connection to use it.

    Flew BRS to TSV last week and used the app to work out where I was (window seat overlooking coast). At that height the islands and coastline look just like the map. Made the flight a lot less boring!
