    Cobia

A late report from last Thursday/Friday. Caught these two at Curtain. They weighed in at 16kg and 12kg and were caught on a livey and a half pillie. Also caught a 40cm squire and found 9 sand crabs in the pots on the way home.

    Cheers Marto

Good sized cobia. Were you chasing snapp and got a lovely surprise or chasing cobe. Did you use whiting for livies or hardyheads. Must have helped being dark without all the boat traffic as it can get noisy out there. Well done DD.....

We were chasing both species and the livie was a slimey which we managed to jig up on the way over. There were quite a few boats there when we got there at midnight but it was pretty quiet I think most were asleep.

    Good work Marto.
A couple of real nice fish there.
The crabs would have been a welcome extra as well.
    Thanks for the report
