    Cheap trolling skirts

Hi there does anyone know of where I can get some cheap trolling skirts from? I have some nice trolling resin heads that my grandfather made but I need to order some skirts for them. Cheers Crabs

Yep, these guys have a great selection, different sizes and even recommend some colour combinations they know are proven.

    It is a great site.

    Don't forget the improvised options.

frayed rope bound up can work and lasts very well, normal silver rope gives you white, stripey rope will give you blue and yellow.

brickies string will give you fluro pink and yellow

Twisties packets don't last long but they give plenty of flash

    cheers
Its the details, those little details, that make the difference.

Your right old boot, one guy posted a little while back a resin head with only flashabou instead of a skirt. He caught a big spaniard on it too.

From what I hear twisties packet is red hot....... but you'll never hear that on a modern fishing programe, because twisties are not going to cough up endorsement money for a fishing programe.

Thanks for the replies guys. Ive never heard of Twisties packets being used before but sound interesting. I will post up some pics of the heads today and again when I fit the skirts.

Not exactly the same as that one, but this is using that kind of material. More resilient to silicon IMHO but can't get enough time on the water to prove it..

How does it look in the water?

Spectacular! Lots of shimmy, sparkles and flowing movement like a fish swimming.... And that's beside the boat, don't know how well the resin head contributes to the overall effect, can't see that far, but they are supposed to leave a bubble trail. From a distance it seems to do that.
