    Lake Sampsonvalle Redclaw

Do you need a permit to catch redclaw in opera house traps in Lake Samsponvalle/north pine dam?

No, a SIP (Stocked Impoundment Permit) is not required to trap red claw anywhere. A SIP is required if you are fishing at NPD.

You can have 4 traps, each must have solid (wire) rings with a 10cm dia or less and each must be tagged with your name and address.

You will do very well if you get a boating access permit for $100 see the prfma website for details.

The bass are starting to come back on the chew. ( I got 10bass and a silver on Friday plus the usual feed of redclaw.

Doesnt take long to fill a few buckets when they are that thick.
    Cheers
