Thread: Battery Charging

    Battery Charging

I am about to purchase a couple of new batteries. Batteries I have charged in the past have always had the caps which I remove when charging. Is it safe to charge the "no maintenance" batteries as there are no caps to remove? Is there anything I need to do to accommodate this type of battery?

    Thanks,
    Angry

No need to remove caps at all, in fact they are better of staying on.

What charger do you have? If its one of the cheap $20 ones then toss it in the bin and buy a decent regulated one.

    It's a Calibre 20amp multi-stage charger.

You should have no problem with that.
