    eating periwinkles

    A friend comes from England, saw the Pyramid Periwinkles over the weekend. and wanted to have a feed. To be honest i was not sure if they would be ok. Are they ??

    like all you get off the rocks if its clean water they should be ok i had a feed of pips on the weekend they were good too

    Just boil them up in salt water and use a darning needle to eat them. I've got wogs in the family.....They like them too.

    Or slice a rubber hose into 3cm lengths and eat that, its a similar experience.
