Howdy,
2 mates and myself decided to hit the bay for a thursday nite trip. After we struggled thru the traffic and made it to wello point is was 7pm, considering we left sunnybank at 5pm. Very light breeze and couple boats out we thought we might be in for a good nite.

Headed out to southern end of peel around 8pm and there already was a few boats around. A few drifts not much around till my mate must of dropped his bait(mullet fillet) on this flatheads head lol... it was on.... nice 70cm flathead on board.
So after awhile not much going on we tried out at Harry's. On arrival there were few boats here aswell, but we went over a nice school on the sounder, dropped lines and all good smashed straight up. Nice little solid snapper all around the 32, 33 cm mark. Fun catching but still trying to find a legal one for the trip. After few more smaller fish, and bites fading we decided to try elsewhere.

Went exploring to Jeas reef north of mud to have a look, there was a couple of boats around mud but not much there either so we anchored up for a hr or 2 of shut eye .

About 4am we left to go back to harry's for dawn bite. Lots of boats already and they kept coming. Couple of boats seem to be catching keepers, but generally alot of thru backs.

Left the cowrds after awhile and headed back to bottom of peel. Again there was couple of boats but got our sweet spot and anchored. Landed 4 nice tuskie's 32,32,33,36cm and these fish had brillant marks and colour, all on bonito fillets. After a hr they bite died and we decided we had enough.

Coming back in there was boats everywhere on the water having a nice time for the conditions offered, but there had to be the exception of the larger boats smashing right near anchored smaller boats and jet skier's that wanted to piss off anchored people fishing ......not cool.

All in all it was a good trip, but my lastest curse seems to still haunt me as i can't catch a legal fish from the last 6 trips but i can get my mates on them .....lol

I do have a couple of photo's but im waiting for them to post soon.
