new bay pb snap

went to mud for a few hours this morning got a new pb bay snap went 83cm 7 kg got smoked by another got a few high 30s and killed a reel i didnt like anyway

yeah sp 20lb leader 20lb braid i will put a pic of the jig head later i was lucky, rod is 4 to 7 kg reel 4000 exceeler worst reel i have owned but is the 3rd 80cm snap it has got so cant complain

Daiwa Exceler 8 to 14lb never liked the rod or reel but 3rd 80cm snap rod can't be that bad reel burnt out today

Congratulations thats a prize catch snapper.
Must be something about GOOD FRIDAYS because i caught my 6kg snapper from Mud on Good friday a couple of years ago.

Bloody good solid snap there tim and on the plastics makes it twice as special. Those big boys will make a mess of your reels once they go as all my drags are silent now after being spooled a few times on each. Lost a few others eh (there up for grabs eh) and hasnt the weather gods been good to us over this break (pitty i am down coast without a boat but surf good) well done and i hope the snapper ban will produce many more for us all. DD.....
