Garmin V Lowrance fishfinders

Hi there.
Can anyone please give me their opinion and preference on a Garmin 400C V a Lowrance Elite 5X fishfinder and the diffrence between Duel Frequency and Duel Beam tranducers on the Garmin 400C.
I would appreciate your comments.

i have 2 garmin 300c sounders and cant not fault them awesome units

I've had a 400c for around a year now.......great little sounder,have not owned a Lowrance of that model that you asked about so don't know......But lowrance have had some quality issues of late on their lower end gear.....they are not what they used to be IMO.

After running my Lowrance HDS 8 with LSS-1 down & side scanning for over 12 months - I could not imagine fishing with out it

The charting detail is also fantastic with Platinum card.
