So the older members will remember me, but the newbies wont have seen me as Ive havent posted a report in a dam long time. Dont get out much these days and today was the first fishing trip in about 8 months.
Finally had a day off and couldnt pass up the chance to get out there before the easter croud. Arrived out at my old haunt Mud Island at the gentlemen's hour of 7:00am. Fished until just after midday and ended up with three small snaps ranging from 37-41cm and an 43cm estuary cod. Lots of undersize.
Nothing spectacular but nice to get a feed of fish for Good Friday. Weather was fantastic and by lunchtime had glassed out for the run back across the bay to Nudgee ramp.
As you said mate, that's a nice feed there for today,for only a couple of hours and not much fuel.And the weather was also awesome,what a life hey

Jeff, yeh mate he's still up there, and still fishes a couple times a week as far as I know. He works a bit on weekends now so prob out mostly during the week.
