offshore currents gold coast

hey planning to fish the 50's sometime soon.
has anyone been offshore gold coast lately? if so what is the run like out there, last saturday we where drifting at just over 1 knot so hopefully it has not changed too much. any info would be handy thanks guys.

Hi Mate , Iwas in D.bs tackle shop this arvo and asked the same question.They had a report in that the current was flying out there today which is dissapointing ,but things can change dramatically out there in not much time.This is why I am going to throw a few buks of me two up money in the boat and have a gamble that it has slowed down a bit tomorrow arvy and have go into the night.
