eastern bay and a quicky outside

Went out to put a few pink fish in the esky for the first time since last year I think, geez that ban seemed to never end

Anyway the fishing was good so nothing to complain about and put a few 60cm ones onboard pre dawn working some threadybusters along the ledges with the rest in the 40-50s, continued on from there looking for some more varity and ended up with about 9 species including a few tropical things, got onto a hot bite of kingies and bagged out on them pretty fast, donged a 6kg wahoo on a halco for spence as well

It looked pretty slimy, that jumper wont make any friends. the only enjoyable part of dealing with it was cooking it in some thai sauce

Yeh he was a nice fish Tim but geez there a handful in a small boat when you try and hold it up for a pic, it was 150cm long

there great in the bay tim, all the ledges and islands but offshore we were in 20-30m which is about as deep as there good for.
there pretty light about 20 gram overall weight, but they sink at a equiv rate of prob a 1/4 ounce jighead, good for spots like shallow tempest and smith rock area, hopefully some heavier ones come down the line to open up more options cause they get a lot of action just a bit of a wait to get in the zone.

Yeah when i pulled in my 18.5kg Hoo the other week my arms were that tired i struggled to hold it up for a pic, the buggers are bloody slimey too.

If you ever make a heavier offshore version of the threadybuster ill be keen to chuck some around offshore, im sure they would work a treat.
